to Fanfiction.net. I know, so gay, but I just love to read. And if the story involves characters I already know and love, it’s even more interesting. I like to see other peoples’ perspectives of characters, in that when they write the character into the story, they will write the character a certain way, often times exaggerating a character’s personality. Ie, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV Show) character’s are always made more horrendous, or more air-headed, or more whatever, than they were ever depicted on the show. But these writers will often go where the show’s writer would never go. I usually avoid the “M” rated stories, because if I wanted to read smut, I’ll buy a daggone book written by professionals that knows how to write smut (not that I have read one in a long while… I passed my smut stage in high school when it was taboo to discuss such things)
Anyway, I am stuck on that for now. We’ll see how it goes, where my interest takes me. I could be bored within a week. Because you know, that some of these stories on the site are not “complete” which means I have to wait for installments to be updated. Ugh…

I got a haircut, the shortest I’ve ever gone, and it looks FABULOUS! Everyone asked me if I got a perm, and I have assured them all that, no, despite previous ‘dos, I have curly hair. The shorter it is, the kinkier it is. I cut it so short that I am forced to wear it down. If I wore it in a pony tail I would look like a sumo wrestler with their little bit of hair sticking out the top of their heads. I so don’t want to look like a sumo wrestler, so the hair stays down.
I also purchased some new clothes, because I GOT A NEW JOB!! Yay me! I am going to work for the State of Florida, and you can’t beat state benefits. I’ve already put my notice in at work, and gave them nearly a full-month’s notice, because I knew they would need the max time to find someone new. Plus all the training time it would take for them to learn how to set up some of the different things that I do — that ONLY I do.
Well, that is the extent of my news. I hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine’s Day, because there won’t be another one for a whole year!
